Packwood

May 7th, 2012

Yesterday I went to the Packwood quilt show with my friend, Phyllis and my husband.  The day couldn’t have been nicer for a drive.  There were a little over a hundred quilts.  This show is put together by a few interested ladies–not even a real quilt guild.  They do it on the even numbered years and do a quilt retreat on the odd years.  I was again amazed at the variety and quality of the quilts.  This show will be moving to October in 2014 with the retreat in October 2013.

There is also a new quilt shop in Packwood.  It is located  inside the liquor store.  I didn’t write down the name of the shop, but did find out that it will be open 10-6 seven days a week.  So if you’re going over White Pass make time to stop.
