Professional Machine Quilters Meeting
The next meeting of the professional machine quilters will be held Saturday, Aug 20, 2005 at At the home of Nel Rondeau. Nel lives on Mercer Island. It will be potluck, as usual. Contact Nel at: snron@att.net or 206-890-0988 if you need directions. Please let her know that you're coming. Bring business cards to share, and show and tell. We love to see each others' work, even if it's beginner work. We were all there once.
New Group Name
We have decided to call ourselves "Central Puget Sound Professional Machine Quilters" Our meetings are held in King or Pierce Counties, but you don't have to live here to be welcome at our meetings. We get together about five times a year (never in December) at a different home each time. We share ideas about quilting, new designs, new products, resources, machine troubles and grandchildren pictures. Anyone who quilts for others no matter what machine, or wants to become a professional quilter is welcome. You can even bring you mom when she's visiting. Each of us leaves the meeting with several new ideas to try and information about quilt shows and new products and most of all that nice feeling of not being as isolated as we sometimes feel when we're busy in our studios for weeks at a time. Please join us.
